Although Domaine de Saransot is located in the commune of Listrac, on the left bank of the Gironde estuary, where Cabernet Sauvignon usually dominates the blend, however the Clay-Limestone soils of the estate vineyards, resemble those found in Saint Emilion and are ideally suited to cultivation of Merlot and Cabernet Franc.
